DPG-Frühjahrstagung:

Im kommenden März, 01.03. – 06.03.2026, findet eine Frühjahrstagung der Deutschen Physikalischen Gesellschaft (DPG) auf dem Campus der Uni Mainz statt. Wir erwarten etwa 1.500 Personen, die sich in den Bereichen Atom-, Molekülphysik, Quantenoptik, Massenspektrometrie und Kurzzeitphysik austauschen werden.

Dafür brauchen wir Dich, um uns vor und während der Tagung zu unterstützen!

Du könntest

  • Technische Hilfe in den Hörsälen leisten,
  • bei der Industrieausstellung helfen,
  • im Catering unterstützen,
  • die Posterausstellung betreuen
  • und vieles mehr.

Die Tagung findet unter der Organisationsleitung von Prof. Schmidt-Kaler statt und wird durch ein Team um Prof. Klaus Wendt geplant.

 

Du wirst über die DPG im Rahmen einer kurzfristigen Beschäftigung angestellt und erhältst 15 € Stundenlohn – mehr als sonst bei Hiwitätigkeiten!

English Version:

The annual spring meeting of the German Physical Society (DPG) takes place at Mainz university campus next year. From the 1st until 6th of March 2026, we expect about 1.500 scientists to exchange about atomic and molecular physics, quantum optics, mass spectrometry and attosecond physics.

We need you for running and preparing the conference!

You could be

    • giving technical assistance in lecture halls,
    • helping at industry exhibition,
    • setting up poster walls,
    • supporting the catering
    • and much more.

The local organizer of the conference is Prof. Schmidt-Kaler, a team around Prof. Klaus Wendt is planning the conference.

You would be employed by the DPG with a short-term contract. The hourly wage is 15 € – more than the usual Hiwi contracts!
